How it works

Pletal works by enhancing the flow of blood to the legs and also by preventing platelets from clotting together and reducing blood flow.

Guidelines for Usage

Follow the dosage instructions provided by your doctor or as mentioned in the instruction booklet/product label.

You may take it with 30 minutes before a meal or 2 hours after a meal.

Side Effects

Report the following side effects to your doctor only if they become bothersome or do not stop on their own

• Abnormal stools; back pain; bloating or swelling of ankles, feet, or hands; diarrhea; dizziness; feeling of a whirling motion; gas; headache; increased cough; indigestion; infection; muscle aches; nausea; runny nose; sore throat; stomach pain; swelling of the legs and feet.

The following side effects require immediate medical attention. So report these to your doctor immediately.

• Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); black, tarry stools; fast or irregular heartbeat; pounding in the chest; unusual bruising or bleeding; vomiting material that looks like coffee grounds.
